While not used competitively like its Obsidian Flames cousin, this is the prime collectible Charizard card of 2023, and likely going to go down in history as one if its most gorgeous and desirable forms
I believe this came about because they wanted a mischievous creature on the back that punished the opponent for not having enough cards in their hand, and flavor-wise, that felt a lot like a faerie (it was an imp when it was on Equilor)
If you load up on creature spells, then it allowing everyone to draw cards except for a player playing a noncreature spell becomes less of an issue
Split second blocks players from casting new spells and activating abilities, but it doesn't affect mana abilities, triggered abilities, or special actions like morph
