I awakened to a heavy fog outside and was up and out the door to photograph the wildflowers before 5:00 am

The North Coast begins near the Columbia River and extends south to Cascade Head and has longer stretches of beaches

It was interesting following them as one would fly off to a tree and the other would be right behind as they listen and peck at the insects while going up the tree branches

A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I make my way through the park only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead
