The cards are based on existing MTG designs, with Marika Conquers Death and Blasphemous Act using the Lord of the Rings set's frames, Drake Warrior Igon using Throne of Eldrain, a set which features Giant Killer, and the Class Enchantments using the sketch frame from Modern Horizons 2
TCG Pocket has, in a way, almost worked backwards - it's an engagement system with a really quite brilliant, timeless game on top of it, which, if anything, has actually distracted me from all the funny business with engagement
