"If a source would deal damage to a creature or player, it deals double that damage to that creature or player instead." If that damage is going to you, *you*, as the affected player, get to choose which effect applies first
There are a lot more problems with Leyline of Sanctity than benefits, however

This deck isn't as creature-heavy upon first look, given that there are only 26 creature cards compared to 20 artifacts, but there are so many ways to create additional token creatures in this deck that the 26 permanent cards will feel like way more when in active play
