The blades are hand forged carbonized steel and the handle is cast brass. made in India oil for maintenance available in 3 sizes from tip of blade to end of finger loops: 12", 9" and 6" 12": 6. 5" blade 9": 5" blade 6": 3. 5" blade To prevent the steel from rusting, a thin coat of oil has been applied to the blades. We recommend wiping down the scissors
